AirPods Max/iPad/iMac Sidecar

It’s a contest! How many  product names can you fit in a forum post title?

Since I upgraded to Ventura, my iPad and iMac vie for control of my Airpods Max. It does some weird pressure thing in my ears and just goes back and forth a few times before settling on one and then starting up again a minute later. Very annoying and I’ve changed my setting on the iPad to only connect the headphones if they were last connected to the iPad but that doesn’t seem to help.

This is not happening with my phone, though I’m not connecting via sidecar. Oh, and I’m not sure if there’s a difference, but rn I’m only sharing my keyboard/mouse w/the iPad.

Anyone experiencing this as well? Any ideas on how to fix it?

I don’t have a solution for you, but just wanted to let you know I can relate.
My AirPods Max and pairing have been a constant pain in the butt since I got them.
Apple’s solution, when I finally broke down and called them, was to do a factory reset. Of course it didn’t last.
Others don’t have any problem :person_shrugging:

Have you turned off automatic switching?
That helped mine.
