Alfred "Menu Bar" Workflow a Paletro alternative

I just want to sing the praises an Alfred Workflow. I’ve seen Paletro mention a few times, but don’t need another app running, so I searched the Alfred Workflow Gallery. See: Alfred Gallery • Workflows • Menu Bar Search

This workflow searches the menu bar of the currently active app. Since I’ve already paid for Alfred it’s “free” for me.

I discovered this workflow recently too. I already had Paletro but was forgetting to use it. This workflow, on the other hand, I now use regularly.

That’s a great workflow! However sometimes there’s a menu or other it won’t show.

For these cases I use the built-in ⌘+? as discussed here. This one is free for all, not as beautiful as the Alfred Workflow or Palettro, but even more useful.

I’ll add another recommendation for this workflow as well. I actually started using it because Paletro would randomly stop working for me and it was really frustrating. But this workflow works without fail.

Yes, good approach. For Raycast users, in extensions:

(I set hyperkey+p for Paletro, I guess.)

I use this workflow like 5-10 times easily, and it saves so much time, but more importantly avoids frustration. Apps have so much inconsistency in how they categorize their features in menu bar items.

For those “mousers” out there don’t forget Menuwhere - command + right click to bring up the menu of the front app, where you click (also has a keyboard shortcut cut as well)
