Some users are tweeting that Elon Musk did it in a fit of rage for being corrected about Apple AI.

I should no longer be surprised by the really dumb things Musk does, but I would still be shocked if he did this on purpose.

Maybe their tweets were approved and then not approved like so many apps…
There was a kerfuffle about this in 2022, and the claim is that the Apple account doesn’t actually tweet.

I’ll bet it is a temporary effort by Musk to show what it is like to be blocked, banned, or shadow-banned by other social media sites.
Sadly, some members of this forum belong to social media sites that practice the same behavior and don’t see anything wrong with it.
This got vastly overblown. Apple’s account is one a few special ones that can send tweets but they don’t appear on their timeline:
