That sounds good.
I use this method because it creates a searchable pdf.
Most of the time, I use Adobe (DC) OCR because it’s free for me through my work and it really is better than anything else I’ve tried. I have Abbyy FineReader and it has been unable to digitize some scans where Adobe has done it perfectly.
Both are extremely good but Adobe is better in my experience.
