I’ve done some searching around the internet and it seems there are a number of folks chatting about this issue on Reddit.
Anyone else all of the sudden having to enter your password for App Store purchases/downloads instead of the biometrics on device? This started just in the last couple of days and is happening on both my iPad and iPhone. I did the standard stuff like restart the device and turn FaceID off/on for App Store downloads, to no avail.
Curious if anyone else is encountering this?
