It looks like a nice update to the AirTags - the range improvements are very nice.
The only issue I have: my AirTags work just fine and I am not eager to replace them. ![]()

As a former Tile user I cannot say enough good things about the AirTags. They have helped me successful find so many lost items.
My wife’s car was broken into and they stole her wallet and Airpod Pro. We were able to track the Airpod and find the empty case across state lines, in another area we found the Airtag they jettisoned and we narrowed down the other Airtag to a cluster of homes but it wasn’t clear enough to call the authorities.
Needless to say I’m ALL in on AirtTags.
Same boat. Happy with my AirTags, but am glad to see these improvements for the next time I need to buy some.
Same here. Since I purchased my AirTags I’m not misplace my keys, etc. once. I had no idea they could change someone’s behavior. ![]()
They’ve not said if the battery life will still be a year. It’s such a shame that these aren’t rechargeable.
Good that they’re incrementally improving the product. I own 5. Still the only time I’ve ever needed to find one was when I wanted to move it from one backpack to another and I couldn’t figure out where I had secreted it in the first.
I guess I’m somewhat happy the 1-2 times a year I travel, but even then, it’s only insurance.
Now… if they could make really small, stick-on tags that I could put on stuff in my office. THAT I would be all over. I’d buy a box of 500. Because I lose little stuff in the house, not big stuff outside the house (or even inside).
One of my kids has an AirTag that’s chewed through 2 batteries since July. I just found out yesterday and have no explanation.
I bought 4 of these for certain uses
I’ve driven all across this city collecting my son’s school bag that he’s left on the bus, that we found thanks to AirTags. They’re wonderful and if there’s a better version out, it’s a guaranteed buy for me.
These look awesome, I wish I had a reason to upgrade! I will once the ones I have become too worn out.
That’s a problem Apple may have. they’re pretty resistant to getting broken.
Some will take that as a challenge.
I just want an “air card” for my wallet. I have card slots for them but it makes my wallet a chonky boy.
There are trackers out there starting with Chipolo and Nomad which work with FindMy. The Nomad is rechargeable.
Nice! I’ll have to look into them.
