How can I copy all “on my Mac” with several folders and sub folders .mbox mailboxes to another computer - all at once? Do I have to export all then import all or is there a way to just copy the finder folder then paste in other computer?
My first thought is to create a new IMAP folder containing a new set of sub folders. Then drag the contents of each ‘on my Mac’ folder to it’s new “home”.
Keep in mind that a lot of servers will throttle uploads like this so it may take some time. I’ve used this method many times to consolidate IMAP accounts. Except I never use subfolders.
OTOH if you want to use ‘On my Mac” folders on your new computer (why?) I would just export/import each MBOX one at a time.
