My understanding is that Apple is not trying to create an equivalent AI, but aside from functionality like App Intents, Apple has a tough road to compete with the top AI companies. Again, that may not be their goal.

IMO, this is meant to be a fun app, like Genmoji. I don’t think Apple is trying to compete with anyone at this time.
Perhaps that is not the app you are looking for…or, I don’t think that app is what you think it is…:).
I tend to use it to just have a little fun and share with family members. The styles are nice and help generate different ideas. I am not sure I would use the output on marketing material, but it is a nice tool. I like that it is included on my devices as well. Perhaps play around with it for a little while and enjoy the silliness that arises.
For me, yes. There are times that my brain just needs a little break…:).
I can get a different happy birthday with a family member or just a random hello sign in about 30-60 seconds that is just enough to break up my routine. Sometimes, I share the pictures with my family, other times they just get deleted.
Instead of scrolling through social media apps, I try out new suggestions and see what comes up.
