Apple reminders: How to add due dates to multiple tasks

In the iOS app I can select multiple tasks and change the date. How is this possible in the MacOs app?

Hold down shift while selecting the second and third tasks (just like selecting files in finder, etc.).

Then add the due date via menu or right-click.

This is the problem. I only get Today, Tomorrow, This weekend. I can not choose a date.

Now I understand the problem. Unfortunately, I don’t have an answer for you. Seems like a big problem.

FWIW, I use Things, where this is a trivial task (as I’m sure it is in other task managers)
