Haha, I was hoping you would share your reaction when you said you were halfway through. The season is closer to 4.5 hours than 8. Short episodes after the pilot were my favorite twist, personally.
I hear you. I love short episodes - which is why I thought Slow Horses is very well paced. Sugar, though, feels long. And it seems to be (spoiler)setting up for a Season 2. I don’t mind more interesting PI and noir stuff, but please don’t degenerate into some space invaders pew pews.
I saw this series recommended to me by Apple - Calls. Each episode is just 18-20 minutes. I “saw” the first two episodes and I am intrigued!
