Hello, all! I’ve got a simple shortcut for adding a reminder to a specific list and adding a due date to the reminder. I use this shortcut all of the time via my Apple Watch Ultra’s action button, but it is slow and inconsistent on the orange Shortcut launch banner (see attached photo for example). The banner persists any duration from 3-8 seconds before allowing me to input.
Is anyone else experiencing this issue? If so, do you have any recommendations to mitigate or eliminate it? Thanks in advance!
Yeah. I think it’s kinda like an in-built confirmation? I know of some people who use it to open the frunk on their cars.
I tried for the longest time to use it for HomeKit related shortcuts. I would then start to see that orange screen show up and the shortcut could take 5-10 seconds to run. Restarting the watch always fixed it but just for a while. After 5 or 6 releases of Watch OS didn’t fix it I gave up and no longer use it. I was also accidentally activating it, I think the button got easier to press as my watch aged.
