Apple's New (New York) font

Comes in 6 weights and 4 sizes. It was formally known as "SF Serif” (or “Serif UI”), and was included in the last Apple Books update. But now it’s available for download at https://developer.apple.com/fonts.

Decades ago, the Mac had a Susan Kare-designed bitmap font called New York as well, but the two fonts don’t really seem related.

Image shown is New York Medium Regular.

The lowercase ‘y’ on the new New York looks a lot better. Kind of surprised at the old one.
