Hi everyone,
I’m looking for a software modelling app through which i may also be able to generate source code. Since there are a good number of these software, can anyone suggest me options and also your experiences on it?
Basically, I’m looking for these features:

  1. Model software in such detail that i can generate code from it.
  2. Reverse engineer source code of the modeling app itself so that i can add more features to the modeling app. I want to do this so as to be able to keep track of the source code of the production apps.

This is not my area of expertise but I was dabbling with StarUML which just got added in the apps available via a Setapp subscription and it seems to be useful in that purpose.

It is made for software modelling and allows code generation in multiple languages.
I don’t know how it compares to similar tools out there but it seems to be pretty solid in the brief usage I made of it.
