I’ve just received my Aqara M2 Hub, and the setup has a homekit only mode question. I can’t find anything related to that in the documentation, so have no idea what to do.
Should I log onto Aqara home, and then share to homekit? Or just use homekit mode? Any pros-cons apart from the obvious privacy issues??
If you want to be able to use the Aqara hub for chimes (I have a button which works as a “doorbell” like this), you’ll need to sign into the app. I am signed into it and am happy with it.
I read you can switch if needed, so for now I’ll try homekit mode to get used to the system, and see where I go from there
