Back up from cloud

In the unlikely event that the Internet goes down for some time, I would like the freedom of knowing that I have backups of all my files on an external hard drive. I presently have over 10,000 Evernote notes, and I have used Dropbox as my storage device for the last 10 or 15 years. If there was an Internet outage, I would not have access to all my very important data. Since I am 90% paperless. Can someone please tell me the best way to download backups to an external SSD drive?

Define “some time”. Your internet connection and WiFi generally are more unstable than you realize.

You coudl backup your Everenote and other cloud services to Dropbox using Cloud HQ

https://www.cloudhq.net/g_suite

Then you can save your entire Dropbox on a Synology NAS

When I was an Evernote user I would back up my files by exporting them as .enex files. There are several programs that can import .exex but I’m not sure how many can handle 10K notes.
