Been testing this out for a few weeks. Seems about 80-90% of the way there. Some glitches, nothing too bad. Considering it is a beta app on a beta OS, nothing too surprising.

My latest beta updated to the first non-beta version of Bartender 4!

Does anybody have an example of how to use scripts to show/hide menubar items?

When testing Bartender (4.0.48) always says the script returns false, even for this one:

exit 1

I’m confused by the “script outputs” terminology in Bartender.

Does this mean:

  • exit or echo?
  • shell script or AppleScript?

(I spent a tweet on it as well, but maybe somebody here knows and can help me?)

Bartender 4 (final, 4.0.48) keeps forgetting that I enabled “Launch Bartender at login” :cry:

Anyone else experiencing this too?
