Best file transfer app to Mac?

- Where are you transferring files from and to - Transferring files between drives on the same Mac and across the internet are two very different things
- Are there any protocols you need to use e.g. SFTP?

Transmit by Panic. I’ve used it professionally for years.

This is the way.
As long as they don’t sunset it like their other apps.
It won’t be for awhile, at least, with Transmit 6 being released soon.
They going for the subscription with 6?
Prompt isn’t working right now for mac or iphone. I wonder if I get some of my sub refunded…
The problem with apps that call home is that they die when home is unreachable
I used it for many years before I retired. It’s a great app.
But it is more limited than ChronoSync that can sync files using SFTP or automate backups to AWS, another Mac, or an external drive, etc.
I agree with @geoffaire, we need more information.
This looks like a typical post to be followed up by spam, advertising such software?
I’m surprised that did not happen yet…

That was my initial thought, but I thought I’d change the habit of a lifetime and be welcoming

I think everyone agrees that Transmit is the best. Spammers fear this.
