Best monitor dongle for M1 Air to HDMI ...?

I see Apple has their $69 fancy option - USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter - Apple - and an HDMI-only option from Belkin that’s $49.

I like the idea of being able to do USB-C charging through the adapter, and the other USB-A port doesn’t hurt - but I’m wondering if this is something I need to shell out $69 for, or if there are other options that may potentially be better / more durable / more reliable. I’ve had some bad experiences with Apple dongles in the past. :slight_smile:

What do y’all use?

This works well for me and my girlfriend on M1 and Intel MBP.

You’ve already ordered, but I use this one largely because it supports 4K@60Hz: Slim Type-C Aluminum Multi-Port Adapter V2 - Satechi

If 60Hz 4K isn’t something you want/need, there are so many more options :slight_smile:
