Menus appear in strange places, sometimes at the upper right of the screen as shown, sometimes on a completely different screen. The mouse pointer usually doesn’t work on the menu, and I have to use arrow keys to quit the app, or quit it from the dock icon. I disabled a couple of apps that I thought might contribute, Default Folder X and Magnet, but that didn’t help. Closing the app usually fixes the issue, as does rebooting.
Huh. Never happened to me. Some interference with BTT or KM doing hidden things?
I haven’t seen this with menus, but I’ve had several occasions on Big Surprise where a permissions dialog (“Do you want…”) will open and cannot be dismissed until I shut down the MacBook.
