Bookmark manager wanted

yeah I have pinner and pinswift but I almost always just access the site in safari.

Have you tried URL Manager Pro - http://www.url-manager.com/ ?

It’s a great piece of software.

Does not seem to run on iPhone or iPad, which is one of my criteria. Thanks, though.

You can as you mentioned do this in Drafts app.

It will certainly allow you to sort by (note) last accessed, you can also flag notes for additional sorting.

I do this, just tagging any saved web page URL’s with #bookmark and then create a workspace to show only bookmarks, sorted by last accessed. No need for another dedicated app, although +1 for Pinboard or DevonThink if you are a serious bookmark hoarder (talking 100’s +), which I am not.

wouldn’t this conflate the date you last accessed the draft with the date you last accessed the bookmarked website?

Well look at this. URL Manager Pro 5 (64-bit Catalina support) is coming. I truly thought UMP was dead since the passing of the original developer. You may want to give it a whirl.

Updated URL Manager Pro 5 coming.

Oops didn’t see @Jerry_Johnson post and your reply about iOS support. Honestly I’m eyeballing Raindrop.io for my Mac/iOS bookmarking needs in that regard

I think I can do this with the built-in Firefox bookmark manager on the Mac. Sort by most recent visit. Done.

I don’t see any way to do it on the iPad or iPhone, alas.

Yes, but it’s a solution of sorts.

I recently moved to using pinboard through this alfred workflow: https://github.com/spamwax/alfred-pinboard-rs
I simply modified the alfred command to only search for the tag “bookmarks”, and then moved all my bookmarks manually from safari.
Now my bookmarks are completely browser-agnostic
Note that the workflow has a local cache that you have to update when you change your bookmakrs. Luckily that takes a few seconds and is easy to do with the alfred command ‘pu’.
