I can’t remember where I read it, perhaps on here, about Floccus a bookmark manager. What do you guys use? I have a mixture of iOS and Windows devices so looking for a cross-platform bookmark manager, happy to pay for it, but not as a subscription.

Use Chrome, Firefox, Brave etc and turn on bookmark sync?

I considered using Brave to sync between devices…
I thought there might be a better solution.
I use Goodlinks to save links/pages but it is iOS/macOS only.
I opted for Floccus and have added it. I saw that the developer also works for nextcloud and works on nextcloud bookmarks. It works with Google Drive and now works with Dropbox. Other options were available where it stores the file but they appeared to involve a cost e.g. Linkwarden Cloud.
I will see how I get on.

Or you could keep everything in Safari, if that is your favorite brower. Export all your bookmarks to an html page, then copy and paste that into an email you send to yourself. Open the email and click a link as needed.

I"m using floccus with a self hosted webdav instance on my home server. Works great.
I use the generous free tier of Raindrop.io, which has more than enough functionality for my needs. I only use it for web sites I visit regularly, though, not as a Read-It-Later tool.

I really liked Raindrop and wanted to keep using it but I gave up a couple years ago when it constantly asked me to log in. Has that behavior improved?

Haven’t found a good macOS app, so using the web there.
To date, I’ve only been asked to log in when I’ve completely shut down the browser and open it up again. It’s usually not a problem since my two main browsers (Arc and Chrome) are always open in at least one of my Mac’s Spaces.
Since I don’t use browsers much on my mobile devices, and, when I do, mostly for a quick search for some random piece of information, I can’t offer much on the mobile Raindrop experience.
An aside: I find the search experience in mobile browsers beyond frustrating. I find myself asking Gemini because the UI is cleaner.
