I upgraded after the first two weeks and haven’t had any issues. I use Synology, the new Synology Photos, Plex, HyperBackup, and a couple of other apps and a few Docker instances with Hoobs and PiHole. All is well.

Upgraded my Synology 2 weeks ago and have had no issues. Plex reinstalled as part of the process but runs as usual.

Upgraded early, all working great. The Plex builds from Plex were quickly updated synology “App Store” Plex always has been a few versions behind. Also I’m loving new synology photos. The personal library uploads (and then deleting off phone what was uploaded), and being able to easily move photos to the shared albums is great. My wife and I have personal backups for the phones and then once every few months organize the “final” photos in the shared area.
And all of this has hyperbackup to offsite synology, OneDrive and Dropbox.
That said in the last 3 days I have seen my Synology disconnect from the network. It shows connected on the router but can’t see it on the computer, Plex or any shares …
Haven’t been able to triage a root cause yet. All suggestions on the web (memory, storage pool, hdd condition etc. seem OK and report no faults …
no known or noticed issues on a DS420j. upgraded a few months back.
