Cable to MagSafe back to cable

Since MagSafe came out I have been using it. I love MagSafe in my car to hold my cell phone. I also have a MagSafe chargers on my nightstand. But the more I use MagSafe it makes me think to start using cables again. It takes longer to charge on MagSafe, I’m starting to second guess myself.

Has anyone went back to cables after MagSafe?

Not me. I never stream video on my iPhone so my battery normally lasts all day, even when I charge to 80%. So I only use cables to transfer data or backup to an SSD.

What problem are you trying to solve? Or, what is your priority?

For me, I use magsafe in my car to make it a lot easier to take my phone on and off charging while running errands and constantly going in an out of my car.

Secondarily, if I am using navigation, magsafe keeps gps from running down the battery without worrying about wires.

At home, I primarily use magsafe to charge my phone overnight and I haven’t found a need for faster charge.

Basically, I find the convenience of magsafe works great and I don’t run into charging time versus convenience issues for how I use my phone typically.
