Calendar Bridge

A while ago, someone was looking for a way to Sync their work calendar with their personal calendar, or maybe it was between Spouses to avoid getting double booked. I can’t find the post though.

This may meet the need, it may not, but I’ve stumbled across https://calendarbridge.com which seems to fit the bill, so I thought I’d post it here just in case.

Thanks for sharing this! It is a very sophisticated solution but I dont think it’s viable for everyone working for big corps, as most IT admins will refuse to allow CalendarBridge to access their users’ calendars due to compliance and confidentiatlity issues.

Notion Calendar has this feature as well.

I agree, but there is the option for the IT team to procure it and configure it not to share any information.

I’ve been using calendar bridge for the last two years. But my new job in cyber security got notified I was using this and made me remove it.

I may be missing the point but just displaying both my work (on site) and personal (Google) calendar in, for example, Apple Calendar was enough to keep things straight.

In the case I was asked about it wasn’t so that the individual could see it themselves, the person wanted to sync work busy status to their personal calendar so their family could see their availability (the family all have access to each other’s calendars)

I can see the use case and the sense.
