Can I use Visual Intelligence without ChatGPT or Google? How?

Last week I installed iOS 26.1 RC on my iPhone 15 Pro and only now I realize that I have never tried Apple’s Visual Intelligence… So today I tried it for the first time, but I’m confused: after taking a picture (using the Visual Intelligence button in the Control Panel) I see a glow around the object in the picture, but the only things I’m able to do is either ask ChatGPT for more information or search on Google for similar images. Both things that I don’t want to do… (for privacy reasons)

Is the no on-device (or Apple server) functionally?

What am I missing here?

Well, Yes you can use visual intelligence without ChatGPT or Google, but for doing this you will require some tools. You can use the below-listed tools to do this.
