I accidentally left an app on my phone which required a one week trial which converted to an annual subscription earlier today. Scammy but I forgot to cancel. What are the chances I can get Apple to refund me?
I got a refund for an unintended subscription sign-up, so it’s worth a try.
Mine was poor wording in Castro, so I didn’t realise I’d already used the free trial and I got billed for it, I think. Not scammy, just confusing (and Castro is a good app, but Overcast suits me better).

In my experience, Apple’s “report a problem” forms lead to a default “Sorry, we can’t refund you.” However, if you email or chat with Apple support, I’ve always gotten a refund. So it’s worth engaging customer service!
