The rumors of Apple’s death have been greatly exaggerated.
2018: $1,000,000,000,000
2020: $2,000,000,000,000
2022: $3,000,000,000,000

Sometimes the recurring characters in Tsai’s blog seem to be like Canute sitting on the beach yelling at the tide to halt its advance. The thing is, Canute knew he couldn’t stop the tide; I’m not sure “traditional” Apple HIG-compliant developers know they can’t.
