Anyone tried MacShot.io as a CleanShot X alternative. Considering cancelling my Setapp subscription and Cleanshot is one app I would need to buy or replace.
Any other good alternatives to test out?
If the goal is simply giving up Setapp… there’s a standalone purchase for CleanShot X. I use it and love it.

+1 for Shottr. I moved away from CleanShotX (way too much stuff I didn’t need) and found Shottr to do a great job for me. Nice set of tools for marking up screenshots.

macshot dev here - it is not vibecoded 
it’s just that in 2026 if you don’t use AI you’re behind, and there’s no reason for me to hide that.
I review and test all code manually

Another vote for Shottr. Does everything I need, and the dev seems like a good guy.
Many people here will disagree with me, but I think it’s sad if that’s true.
(thinking of all the other negative aspects of AI besides vibe coding)
