Colored Kindle!

I am excited to see the continuation of the Kindle series as I value my Kindle Paperwhite 2021 I bought last year for $85 taxed.

Glad I got mine for $85 as I don’t see the new kindle worth the higher price

Agreed on this. Even though I don’t need a colored Kindle at this moment, it’s heartening to see that Amazon is continue to make new Kindles and supporting the platform.

I would love nothing more than for Kindle to go head to head with the Palma in form factor.

Why wouldn’t they, after every kindle sold there are big bucks selling digital books, like digital gold.

All I want are hardware buttons. :frowning:

They cleverly released these new models just after Amazon Prime Days, which are traditionally the cheapest days to buy Amazon electronic gear.

It’s why I paid the extra money to buy the Kindle Oasis and why I won’t buy another Kindle until there is one with Page Turn buttons.

If they don’t release one I’ll reluctantly start looking elsewhere and would probably stop buying Kindle Books too.

I’ve had a Kindle with color highlighting for years. My iPad.

I can’t conceive of anyone thinking of a Kindle and iPad being in the same category. The price, different lighting, weight, lack of notifications, and many other things make the Kindle far superior (for me) for reading books.

It’s an ironic comment, my friend. Don’t over-think it.

We are days away from Black Friday. Lol

You have got to be kidding me.

Kindle is 1000 times better reading experience.

Geo.

More and more I read your posts, makes me wonder if you’re my long lost brother. Lol

100% agreed. My kindle is on airplane mode and I side load mobi books via usb cable.

Katie,

That’s the first thing I thought when I read this thread. I do use a Kindle, but it’s an app on my iPad.

Then you probably won’t want one of the newest Kindles, unfortunately:

That then doesn’t bode well for me using the Kindle Store in the future - I tend to buy all my books from them and the De-DRM them so I can read them on my Kobo. It’s the sole reason I’ve got an old Kindle, so I can use its serial number for the DRM removal process!
