A quick search shows a couple of support communities discussions about it. It looks like autosave files and preferences for Numbers.
Thank you for the reply.
But as you can read in the title, those files are inside the Photos.app file, that’s why it’s weird. Yes, they are Numbers files, but I wonder why they are inside the Photos.app?
Is there date current? If they are old I would be tempted to delete them and write them off as a file system hiccup.
No the date is 2022. But there are other folders there that are also old and they are probably system related such as
com.apple.accountsd
com.apple.CloudPhotosConfiguration
com.apple.photoanalysisd
com.apple.Photos
etc
It doesn’t really bother me, especially because they are 0kb.
I was just wondering if they were necessary. And since they are in 2 different folders, maybe they are there for a reason…?
If not, it’s ok. I will leave them there. You never know. If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it
Leave it alone! Who knows (other than Apple) what sort of voodoo is going on in their proprietary databases. As you say, they aren’t taking any space, so there is nothing to gain by deleting them.
