Converting WAV. files to M4A?

Can anyone recommend software for the Mac to convert WAV files to m4a?

I usually just right-click and choose to encode from the services menu.

I used DBPoweramp to successfully convert many, many thousands of WAV files to FLAC. It will convert just about any audio format to any other audio format.

Hard to beat @GraemeS’s suggestion for ease, but I have both Permute and Pro Audio Converter, both of which are a little more full featured.

I’m definitely not going to win the price for easiest solution, but FFmpeg (free software) can do this (on the command line).
