Create LinkedIn Carousels Using AI and IA Presenter

This morning, I had a partially written LinkedIn post about bottleneck bosses that was doing my head in. I used Claude (ChatGPT works almost as well) to help me finish writing the post, refine the structure and flow, and get feedback on what worked

We went back and forth until the content was solid - about 30 minutes all up.

I then decided I’d rather share it as a LinkedIn carousel, rather than a text post.

I asked Claude what it thought was best and its answer surprised me!

It first said, yes it would make a great carousel, but …

But here’s the tradeoff:
Carousels take more time to create. You need to design them (or have NJ do it). Text posts take 2 minutes to publish.
Given your discipline strength (or lack thereof), and your goal to work fewer hours - my question back to you is:
Would you rather post this today as text, or spend time making a carousel that might not go up this week?
Sometimes done beats perfect.

And then I remembered I’d bought IA Presenter for Mac and iPad for exactly this situation.

So … I asked the AI to format it for IA Presenter:

Claude researched IA Presenter’s markdown format and converted my post into the right structure.

Which I pasted directly into IA Presenter, using my iPad, while laying on my bed.

I then:

  1. Exported as PDF from IA Presenter
  2. Upload the PDF to LinkedIn
  3. Add a text hook
  4. Posted it

LinkedIn automatically converts the PDF into a swipeable carousel.

I shared this because the IA Presenter step was so so easy. It saved me (or my assistant NJ) hours of work.

It’s a plain looking PDF, which may be a limitation of the iPad version, not sure, don’t mind. It makes me happy!

Hope this helps someone.

That’s a good idea. The text is too small on LinkedIn, though, IMO, especially the body-sized text. You could have the same tool make an adjusted iA Presenter theme.
