Since we have a Black Friday sale on DEVONtechnologies I’ve looked into their other products. I’ve found that DEVONsphere Express (something around 8$ now) is a very welcome addition to DEVONthink - more like a simple search interface DEVONthink should have from the beginning. Should also be able to autosuggest items based on a current document and in general replace spotlight search.
Since I know there are many DEVONthink users here this info could be useful for some people. Trial is available.
