(Sorry for the Swedish screen shot)
I am probably old, but somewhere along the line a couple of years ago Apple started with this behavior of changing dialogues about saving and quitting. Having working with Apple since the '80s I literally HATE this dialogue when quitting Pages.
I want a question for EACH document about saving or not.
Example:
I have 5 documents open in Pages. Some are saved, some are crap that I don’t want to save, and some I don’t know about.
Pressing CMD+Q should give me a save dialogue about each unsaved document. Seeing he document behind the document makes it easy for me to decide if I should save it or not.
As it is now, I first see a dialogue that informs that there are 2 unsaved documents. I don’t know which ones and I get confused. I realize that choosing “Review” (or whatever the term is in English) will do just that. But why have an extra dialogue? Which trainee on Apple took that stupid decision!?
Anyhow, how can I turn it off? I have tried different combos in system preferences with no luck.
