I’d like to temporarily disable deep black in macOS so a movie doesn’t display any blooming. (Technically, so the whole movie is bloomed consistently.) Does anyone know a way to do this other than regrading the film? I haven’t been able to find anything in search, and so far I’ve only been able to come up with watching the movie in a mostly opaque Helium window behind a dark gray jpeg and helium’s opacity settings aren’t granular enough.
