I was walking through Costco today and saw that there are LG TVs with HomeKit support and was interested to see if anyone has used one and what their experience has been.
I picked up this TV https://www.lg.com/us/tvs/lg-65SM8600PUA-4k-uhd-tv about 10 months ago. Homekit came along a few months later and works well. I rarely use my Apple TV anymore.
And the AppleTV+ app is also available for the newer TVs.
They are providing Homekit to some of their 2018 models now, as well.

Ah. The good old flippity floppity. I think my older TVs are still too old.
Too late to join the conversation , but trying to find out a way out to connect my existing LG TV to the Apple Homekit .

Can this work . or should i try for some other ways
I believe that’s the best way to do it.
