Duet Display- Disbale Touch Bar on iPad

I am using duet display with iPad and MacBook Pro as a second monitor. Does anyone know if it is possible to disable Touch Bar on iPad for more Realestate?

I’m not on my Mac right now, but I believe it can be done from the menu bar (d) icon within Settings or Advanced (can’t remember what it’s called).

The way mine was setup, it wasn’t using the “Touch Bar” space so removing it didn’t give me anything more, but I may not have set the resolution properly.

Good luck.
