I just created an alias on my iCloud Drive, and when I Get Info on it, something interesting is revealed. The “Where” field reads iCloud Drive • Documents…, whereas the “Original” field reads /Users/calion/Documents/….
I presume that when I try to use this alias on another computer (perhaps only if the user account name is different?), the alias won’t work. Or will it? I don’t have easy access to another Mac at the moment to check. If it won’t work, is there a way to make aliases, or pseudo-aliases, that will? This is especially relevant to shared iCloud Drive folders.
