Could anyone recommend a durable keyboard case for the iPad Pro 12.9" (Gen 1)?
As others have reported, I’m not finding the ASK to be very durable. We’ve had four fail in our household.
Wirecutter recommends the Zagg Pro Keys for 12.9-inch iPad Pro, but I don’t think it is compatible with a Gen 1 iPad Pro 12.9".
Logitech made a keyboard case combo that I purchased day one when the 12.9" Gen 1 iPad Pro came out. Have never regretted it and my wife is currently enjoying both the iPad and case. Has held up quite nicely and best feature is the backlit keyboard.

Just ordered a pair Logitech Create keyboard cases. Hopefully they hold up better.
