Elgato Stream Deck+ with XLR Dock?

Silly question time. I currently have the Scarlett Focusrite 8i6 (Gen 3) with the Stream Deck XL and the Stream Deck+ on my desk.

I was wondering if anyone has experience with the XLR Dock for the Stream Deck+. Based on the images it seems that I can do the following:

  1. plug in my xlr mic into the dock
  2. plug in my JBL speakers into the headphone section of it (I could also plug into the mac direct, or the CalDigit I guess (just a matter of going from 1/4 to 3.5mm

Is it worth all this movement? At the same time, for all of 2024, I didn’t use my mic. I am preoccupied with another project right now. If I had to use a mic for a zoom or something, I just used my AirPods.
