So I am working on a Research Paper for my Master class and the feature for Endnote Citations has been greyed out. I have looked up the issue online and apparently there is a plugin I need to get for paid software. Anyone else run into this issue? I moved the document over to Micorsoft word but invariably ran into formatting issues that remind me why Pages is my favorite Word Processor.
I confess I gave up on Endnote cooperatng with Pages, and Bookends, and just format citations by hand. I track them in a spreadsheet.
I think that is correct. You need the paid version of EndNote. I pay for it and have successfully used EndNote with Pages. It has been two years ago, but it worked fine. I was even able to have it generate the bibliography. Something may have changed since the last time I used it.
I use https://www.mybib.com for my citations and referencing. I have used Word and Zotero in the past, but that became difficult— user error, I am sure! (I still have to submit using Word.)
Using mybib, I just put in the references as I go along, then download as a Word file when done. All in the right format, in order, and it automatically deals with the formatting when an author has multiple papers in a single year.
I would love to try Zotero with Pages, but apparently, there is no way to integrate them.
@LisaSpangenberg, I truly admire you organising through a spreadsheet.
