It’s done! 3,598 notes pruned and migrated to UpNote. Minimal issues with files over 20mb. Hitting that account delete button was magic

Note that deleting your Evernote account doesn’t delete it. I deleted mine in Q2 last year and this month (9 months later) I received an e-mail to update my credit card. I contacted Support and they deleted it manually (finally and I hope that’s true).

What made you migrate?
Reasons have been stacking up for years. Sync issues, bloat, lock-in, etc etc etc. Final straw was sale to a Co with no experience with a product like EN.
Any best practices on migrating you would like to share?
