I’m experimenting using my 13” M4 iPad Pro with my external monitor and Apple keyboard and trackpad for writing a white paper on AI in education using Ulysses. I’m not sure how this will go, but I’m going to give it the old college try. ![]()
Nice looking setup. What’s your motivation for using the iPad instead of your laptop?
I have a rather long list of reasons if interested.
The short version, I have one device that, I think/hope, can meet all of my needs and serve as a “laptop” and tablet all in one.
On that note, I have been pondering something lately. I’m writing a dissertation using google docs, zotero, google notebookLM for organizing pdfs and so…but I see there are some new “all in one AI tools” for this now. Like Jenni and Logically. Any thoughts on using tools like this to tie things together? Any concerns or experiences with it?
@Tellerman, these AI tools are new to me as well. Although intriguing, I haven’t used any of them. I wonder if they will soon replace DEVONthink, Scrivener, Ulysses, Word, standalone reference managers, and similar tools for college, government, and corporate research and writing. It’s a new world!
