External monitor settings suddenly screwy

I was able to contact LG (thanks for the Twitter intro btw!). It took a while for their repair department to follow up, but I am going to send the monitor in for it to be fixed (repair fee = $150 since it’s out of warranty). We got snowed in here so I haven’t sent it out, but plan on doing so soon.

Sorry to hear that, but at least it’s cheaper than a new monitor.

Hi all, thought I’d follow up with what happened here. LG suggested I send the monitor in to be repaired (for a cost of $150 since it’s out of warranty). I did so and got it back today with a letter saying they weren’t able to obtain the parts needed to complete the repair and that they’d refunded me.

I wanted to document in case others come across this one.
