Hi,
when sending voice messenges via FB messenger with my Airpods the sound is pretty awful. I guess it uses the internal microphone instead of the headset. But audio comes through the headphones. Anybody else experiencing this? I googled but didn’t find anything related.

What is controlling audio in System Preferences > Sound in the Input tab?
I don’t use FB Messenger - does it also have audio settings, and, if so, are they in agreement with your Mac’s settings?

Check Accessibility > Touch > Call Audio Routing and try forcing it manually to your AirPods
