I have Drafts there because I think someday I’ll witness a hit and run or something, and through the power of technology I’ll dictate the license plate of the driver into Drafts before they get away. Other, similar uses also come to mind. That said, I think I dictate about 3 notes per year into it
I just got one a few days ago. So far I’m liking next calendar event, messages, and as many weather details as I can fit on the analog Infograph face. And battery percentage! I like to know where I stand
Infograph face with Carrot in upper right, sunrise/sunset in upper left, battery level in lower right, and timers in lower left. In the middle it’s calendar on top, SPO2 on left, OurGroceries (shopping list) on bottom, and Stocard on right. A couple are recent changes and I may fiddle some more.
Originally only had the battery complication when my Apple Watch 9 first arrived. As I have used it customized a few things; the App list putting those apps I use frequently in the middle of the display but once I realised that it was simpler to have them as complications on the watch face (Simple) these are now set up like this.
Top Left: Reminders
Top Right: Battery
Bottom Left: Exercise
Bottom Right: Mindfulness
If only I could get Control Centre’s on there too I would be happier. I use the Water Lock to prevent the Watch from interpreting clothing movement during exercise as a pause request.
I feel like I am never satisfied with mine, but my default face is Modular Duo
Top Left - Just Press Record
Middle - Weather App - Conditions
Bottom - Fantastical - Up Next Timeline
My other go-to is Modular
Top Left - Just Press Record
Date
Middle - Fantastical - Up Next Timeline
Bottom Left - Heart Rate
Bottom Middle - Reminders - Due Today
Bpttp Right - Weather - Temperature
I’ve recently gone back to Just Press Record in place of Drafts because Drafts lost the functionality to open right into recording. Just Press Record still has this feature.
The complication that has lived on virtually every watch face that I’ve used is Drafts. As someone with ADHD, having a way to capture thoughts in the moment is essential for me. Having Drafts just a tap away has been a great way for me to capture thoughts and to-do list items - especially when I’m in the middle of something else or if I’ve got my hands full and taking out my trusty Field Notes notebook isn’t an option.
