Is it just me, or is the selection of applications detoriating lately?

Old wine in new bottle. Pretty much 2023 → 2024-> 2025
Good price on Amazon.
$219.99 - Dell S2722QC 27-inch 4K UHD. I use this monitor as a second monitor in two locations and it is very good for this purpose. This is an excellent value IMO.
Any word on Sonos stuff? Last year they doubled their upgrade programme (30%) around mid Feb.
Kindle edition
Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity, Revised edition (March 17, 2015)

Wasn’t there an issue with M1 chips at some point?
Received a mail from BundleHunt today that they will increase the price of both BusyCal and BusyContacts from $6.99 to $14.99 each tomorrow.
So if you’re thinking of buying them, “act quick”.
(Despite loving the grandfathered Fantastical features I’m actually considering this purchase myself)
I’m curious, do people trust apps like this and share their calendar and contacts with them? Always been skeptical of that.
The app generally seems great…
I don’t believe any of the calendar/contact stuff gets sent back to the BusyCal people. It just pulls your local calendar/contacts into the app that runs locally.
I’m also very hesitant to share this kind of data, with a random app from the internet.
However, both Fantastical and BusyCal have a long history in the Apple ecosystem and the companies behind them have a reputation to lose, so I trust them.
I had been using BusyCal for about 6 months. My organization suddenly started blocking it last week. When I inquired as to why I was told It got flagged for suspicious activity and the Enterprise Systems Administration team needed to disable its functionality.
I’ll keep an eye on what Little Snitch says about it on my Mac.
(Though I probably return to Fantastical)
