Find ALL startup extensions for a user?

I have a strange Dock-related problem on my Mac (the dock and Application switcher is locked if I don’t kill all Dock-related processes). I tried to log in as different user, and it worked as it should. That user have nothing installed, but is just an extra user in cases like this.

So before I reinstall my machine (nothing I want to do because of time), I have started to delete all startup apps and extensions that I have. Nothing helps.
But I also know that there are some strange places where Apple hides extensions these days.

I have tried to google this, but I can’t find a good resource.

Question: How can I find ALL third party startup apps and extensions?

macOS Sonoma if that helps.

The ones I know of are:

~/Library/LaunchAgents
/Library/LaunchAgents
/Library/LaunchDaemons
/System/Library/LaunchAgents
/System/Library/LaunchDaemons

Between them they should identify all items launched at login

Perhaps take a look at LaunchControl, a tool for managing agents and daemons. There is a free trial.

Good luck getting it sorted.

Thank you guys, but none of that helped me.

I have done a total reinstall now, eventually I will install something that give the same error, and then I know…

Looking ahead of a week with reinstallations and disturbances… The worst part is Mail, with the combination of Internet accounts, but that problem is solved now. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Thanks for your input!
