Hi everyone, I want to display “Date Added” in the finder, but can’t seem to find a way to do that. I’m using column view and “Date Added” does not show up in the preview options. Could you please help me out?
I believe “Created" is what you want.
Created is different from Added
Apparently, sometimes it is, and sometimes it’s not (it depends on the app that installed the file). I realize that doesn’t help much.
After your comment, I played around with it a bit more and found the Date Added shows up in the List View, but not in the Column View 
Can you try listing the extended attributes of that file with xattr?
