When I read the title I thought, “Some one is using this thing in a kitchen? To view recipes I suppose. An expensive cookbook for sure.”

Good catch, I hadn’t caught that. Very interesting. They may have exposed more than intended. 
Maybe Apple is signaling big upgrades for the iPad?
Apple did not release a new iPad in 2023 and sales were down. In the 3 months ending 12/31/22 iPads brought in 21% more revenue than Macs. In the same period in 2023 Mac sales were basically flat but they brought in 11% more revenue than iPads.

Mine are on the floor right now because they were on a long picture shelf that was starting to come away from the wall and I was concerned about a terrible accident occuring. They will probably remain there for the next few years until I finally decide to do something about them.
But, to Tim Cook’s office, my previous employer’s office had wooden walls and we weren’t allowed to drill or affix frames except for one or two permitted by the Facilities dept, because it hinders the flame retardant treatment on the wood and thus was a fire hazard. Perhaps a similar issue here?
